"Warmageddon" is a song included on the sixth album Conquer, released in 2008. Hence it is the portmanteau of 'war' and 'armageddon', the lyrics deal about Armageddon from war. The title of this song differs only on first letter from another Soulfly song "Karmageddon", which plays on the debut album Soulfly.
The song beginning is doomy and bassy, topped with fluctuating drums by Joe Nuñez, then plays Motörhead style of thrash, whammed by Marc Rizzo on guitar, speeding up as the song goes on. The song makeup is similar to the Sepultura song "Dead Embryonic Cells".
Lyrics[]
Prophecies unfolding
Armageddon coming
Sanctuaries burning
Revelation screaming
Ritual beginning
Sacrifices starting
Prophecies unfolding
Armageddon calling
Calling all the warriors
Come to war, now...
Calling all the warriors
Armagediztan...
Calling all the warriors
Come to war, now...
Calling all the warriors
Armagediztan...
Insurgents penetrating
In an I'll civilization
Lurid reality
Means confrontation
Mutilation, the only solution
The Armageddon, the Revolution
Calling all the warriors
Come to war, now...
Calling all the warriors
Armagediztan...
Calling all the warriors
Come to war, now...
Calling all the warriors
Armagediztan...
Nihilistic tribes, vengeance is mine
Nihilistic tribes, vengeance is mine
Armageddon time, the world is blind
Armageddon time, the world is blind
AAARRRGGGHH! WARMAGEDDON!
Hostility crashes in the hands of doom
Reality and karma, burn as one
Cities collapsing, temples falling
Welcome to Armagediztan
Calling all the warriors
Come to war, now...
Calling all the warriors
Armagediztan...
Calling all the warriors
Come to war, now...
Calling all the warriors
Armagediztan...
Armageddon
